Storylines

Tottenham: Entering this one, the big story on the Tottenham side is that they will be without star midfielder Dele Alli. He was suspended by the league and fined for a social media post where he joked about the coronavirus outbreak and appeared to mock an Asian man in the process. Not having him likely gives a more prominent role to Giovani Lo Celso to be the creator in attack, while Harry Kane is also fit after his long-term foot injury.

Manchester United: The noise about Manchester United before play resumes has had nothing to do with the sport at all. Striker Marcus Rashford is being lauded as a national hero for his role in helping over a million kids gain access to free school meal vouchers during the summer. Rashford wrote the UK government, had a bunch of public support and helped them turn around their decision.

Prediction

The Red Devils' Rashford comes up huge with a goal and in assist in a vital win. Pick: Manchester United 2, Tottenham 1
